The sixth day of Navaratri is traditionally dedicated to Goddess Katyayani, the sixth form of Navadurga. She is associated with courage, strength, determination and protection.

🪔 6వ రోజు పూజా విధానం – Telugu

1. పూజా స్థలాన్ని శుభ్రం చేయాలి

పూజా స్థలాన్ని శుభ్రంగా చేసుకుని, స్నానం చేసి శుభ్రమైన దుస్తులు ధరించి పూజకు సిద్ధం కావాలి.

2. కాత్యాయనీ దేవి చిత్రాన్ని ప్రతిష్ఠించాలి

శుభ్రమైన పీటపై శ్రీ కాత్యాయనీ దేవి చిత్రాన్ని లేదా విగ్రహాన్ని ఉంచి పూలతో అలంకరించాలి.

3. కలశ పూజ చేయాలి

కలశంలో శుభ్రమైన నీటిని నింపి, మామిడి ఆకులు మరియు కొబ్బరికాయను ఉంచాలి. పసుపు, కుంకుమతో కలశాన్ని అలంకరించాలి.

4. దీపం వెలిగించాలి

అమ్మవారి ముందు నెయ్యి లేదా నూనె దీపాన్ని వెలిగించి, అగరబత్తులు వెలిగించాలి.

5. శ్రీ గణపతిని ప్రార్థించాలి

ముందుగా శ్రీ గణపతిని స్మరించి, పూజ ఎటువంటి ఆటంకాలు లేకుండా పూర్తయ్యేలా ప్రార్థించాలి.

6. కాత్యాయనీ దేవికి పూజ చేయాలి

పసుపు, కుంకుమ, అక్షింతలు మరియు తాజా పూలను అమ్మవారికి సమర్పించాలి.

7. నైవేద్యం సమర్పించాలి

ఇంట్లో తయారు చేసిన సాత్విక నైవేద్యాన్ని భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో అమ్మవారికి సమర్పించాలి.

8. మంత్ర జపం చేయాలి

మంత్రం:
ॐ देवी कात्यायन्यै नमः॥
ఓం దేవి కాత్యాయన్యై నమః॥

9. హారతి ఇవ్వాలి

అమ్మవారికి హారతి ఇచ్చి కుటుంబ సభ్యుల ఆరోగ్యం, శాంతి, సుఖసంతోషాలు మరియు శ్రేయస్సు కోసం ప్రార్థించాలి.

🌸 Day 6 Pooja Vidhanam – English

1. Clean the Pooja Area

Clean the prayer area, take a bath and wear clean clothes before beginning the pooja.

2. Place Goddess Katyayani

Place the picture or idol of Goddess Katyayani on a clean platform and decorate it with flowers.

3. Perform Kalasha Pooja

Fill the kalash with clean water and place mango leaves and a coconut. Decorate it with turmeric and kumkum.

4. Light the Lamp

Light a ghee or oil lamp and incense sticks before the Goddess.

5. Pray to Lord Ganesha

Begin the pooja by remembering Lord Ganesha and seeking His blessings.

6. Worship Goddess Katyayani

Offer turmeric, kumkum, akshata and fresh flowers to Goddess Katyayani.

7. Offer Naivedyam

Offer a simple, pure vegetarian homemade naivedyam to the Goddess with devotion.

8. Chant the Mantra

Mantra:
ॐ देवी कात्यायन्यै नमः॥
Om Devi Katyayanyai Namah॥

9. Perform Aarti

Perform aarti and pray for courage, strength, protection, peace and the well-being of the family.
